To celebrate the conclusion of the 9th edition of the Women Empowerment Program, the pragmatic and concrete mentoring initiative by Women & Tech, the participants will have the opportunity to greet each other and discuss once again female leadership and the development experience they have undergone.
The closing ceremony of WEP will be hosted by Siemens, which supports W&T and is one of the 31 companies involved in the program. Siemens will share its experience through the interventions of Claudia Guenzi - Head of Siemens Smart Infrastructure, and Alessandra Baricada – Head of People & Organization – Siemens Italy, who emphasizes: “At Siemens, we enthusiastically participate in the Women Empowerment Program, where every year many colleagues choose to challenge themselves as mentors and mentees, contributing to building authentic connections and new perspectives. In an environment increasingly driven by AI transformation, together we nurture a network that values talent, accelerates growth, and makes women protagonists of innovation and change.”
The 9th edition saw the participation of 120 professional mentors and mentees who had the opportunity to engage in a one-to-one mentoring journey, deepen their transversal skills in 4 thematic workshops, and take part in networking events.
“Women&Tech supports WEP because it is an ‘innovative workplace’ by Women for Women, where female leadership practices can be developed and strengthened.
As bearers of a holistic vision, Women can provide an extraordinary contribution in business, research, public administration, and civil society, at a historical moment when the value of competence is a driving force for the future. Not only to reach top positions, but to grow and enhance skills and ensure work and well-being for women” - Gianna Martinengo Founder and President of Women&Tech ETS President of Didael KTS
In these nine editions, WEP has seen over 40 companies participate in the program and more than 800 professional women take part, a community born with the goal of supporting young women with high potential during important or critical moments in their careers, to instill confidence in them, along with some practical advice and the reassurance that they are not alone.
And after the celebration on July 7, in September 2026 the doors will open for registrations for the 10th edition of the Women Empowerment Program.
