Notary, founder and partner, with Giovannella Condò, of Milano Notai, a "women 100%" studio on Via Manzoni.
She tries to balance her forces between private life (family, art, social activism) and professional specialization, articulated in two very different components: the more classic Real estate and the less conventional non-profit, of which she is a recognized specialist. She taught Non-profit Entity Law for many years at the Notary School of Lombardy and was a teacher at the Master of Specialization in Management of Non-profit Entities at Il Sole 24Ore. With the Notary Council of Milan, she led joint working groups with the Prefecture and the Lombardy Region to develop shared guidelines between Institutions/Notaries in the Third sector.
She is Vice President of the Notary Academy, which among other initiatives is promoting an interdisciplinary training course on interculturality, a contribution to the major transformation of Italian society: immigration, and a member of the Third Sector Commission of the National Council of Notaries. In step with a Social Economy that has finally gained prominence and is undergoing intense renewal, Monica is actively involved in two major projects: the reform law of the Third Sector and the establishment of Fondazione Italia Sociale, the financial institution desired by the Government to support the development of our civil economy; she is also dealing with circular economy and Benefit Societies, an important tool just introduced in the Italian legal system. Vice President of the Board of Directors of Fondazione Italia per il Dono Onlus, the first Italian foundation for philanthropic intermediation, she follows various projects including the law on "after us", in favor of individuals and families with disabilities, in close collaboration with Annamaria Parente, the law's rapporteur in the Senate. She collaborates with Il Sole 24 Ore and Vita and is the author of numerous publications on both non-profit and real estate matters. She is a member of Arel, an association of women in Real Estate, a partner of the Association Donne e Tecnologie in the Expo Woman Global Forum project; among the many initiatives of the Forum, she particularly likes to recall the conference organized at the University of Piacenza on new models of philanthropy, which has become an interdisciplinary book. She has always supported SVS and Il Sole, respectively engaged in helping women victims of violence and in international adoptions; "above all," however, she would not give up for any reason the presidency of Frida Onlus, a small and fiercely protective association for the rights of animals. She says that it would be impossible for her to pursue so many projects without Marco Morganti, a wonderful life partner and adventurer (he adds that he owes her a significant increase in his own patience) and without the affection of the dogs Hugo and Mia, personal providers of joy, energy, and love.
