On June 4, 2026, an online event to discover professional opportunities, internship paths, and testimonials from women working in IT at European institutions.
On June 4, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM, the online event “Women in IT: ICT Careers at the European Parliament” will take place, promoted by the Directorate-General for Information Technology and Cybersecurity of the European Parliament.
The initiative was created with the aim of promoting and raising awareness of career opportunities in the ICT field within European institutions, with a particular focus on female career paths and the contribution of women in the technology sector.
During the meeting, the various IT career paths available at the European Parliament and, more generally, within the institutions of the European Union will be presented. The Robert Schuman Traineeship internship program will also be explained, an important opportunity for young professionals interested in developing skills and knowledge in an international context.
One of the key moments of the event will be dedicated to direct testimonies from women who currently work in IT roles at the European Parliament. Through their experiences, participants will be able to gain a closer understanding of the required skills, challenges, opportunities, and growth prospects in a European institutional environment.
Women&Tech supports the promotion of this initiative, in line with its commitment to fostering the presence, growth, and leadership of women in STEM fields, innovation, and technology.
Participation is reserved for members of Women&Tech® ETS.
