Salvatore D’Aniello is a Senior Advisor of the Corporate Advisory team at Banca Generali, the division of the institution that deals with supporting companies and entrepreneurial clients. Previously, he was part of the BG4Real project, overseeing the scouting of Italian and foreign startups and SMEs with the goal of creating a bridge between them and private savings.

Before joining Banca Generali, he began his career at the UniCredit group, where he spent 7 years in various roles in both commercial banking and the CIB division. In particular, he coordinated the Channels & Network Architecture team for Southern Italy, overseeing the territorial development of branch networks in the south. He later joined the International Business Strategy team, coordinating cross-border business between core European markets and Asian and Middle Eastern geographies.

His academic background includes a Master in Corporate Investment Banking from SDA Bocconi and a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Warwick. He has also conducted academic research in the field of microfinance in the United Kingdom and southern India.
