In January 2017, Matteo Losi was appointed Chief Digital Expert for SAP EMEA South, a region that includes Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece and Israel, Turkey, the Middle East, and Africa. Losi is tasked with developing knowledge and guiding clients and prospects towards SAP's innovative digital transformation scenarios.
Previously, Losi held the role of Database & Data Management Sales Director at SAP Italia with the responsibility of enhancing SAP's strategy in the Platform and Digital Core area to help Italian companies develop Digital Transformation paths based on SAP HANA and SAP S/4HANA.
Matteo Losi joined SAP Italia in 2001 as the Head of Presales & Business Development. In recent years, he has held strategic roles in the presales area at the EMEA level and in South Africa as the Head of Presales Africa in Johannesburg.
Before SAP, Losi gained significant experience at ST Microelectronics, Siemens, and as a consultant at Ernst & Young Consultants.
Losi graduated in Electronic Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Milan.
