Loriana Abbruzzetti

Founder of Pandolea and manager of the 'Frantoio Abbruzzetti'

Curriculum

Born in Monterubbiano (FM), a small village in the Marche region, on April 18, 1965, for about 25 years she has been managing the "Frantoio Abbruzzetti" with her brother Silvio and sister-in-law Maria Pia, for whom she is the commercial manager. In 2003 she founded Pandolea, together with other women olive oil producers from various regions of Italy, the cultural association that promotes the culture of high-quality Italian extra virgin olive oil.

With great commitment, it organizes activities, events, and manifestations, with the collaboration of many associates, all on a voluntary basis without any public or private contribution. In recent years, Pandolea has been almost exclusively dedicated to food education in schools, involving over 20,000 children/students of all levels, from the youngest to university students.

Pandolea participates in Expo Milano 2015 with the historic initiative "Bruschetta VS snack". In the Italian Pavilion, on October 16th (month dedicated to oil), in collaboration with the Borgoncini Duca school of Rome and the publisher ClioEdu, will present the first Italian e-learning project dedicated to oil and food education.
