He has held leadership positions in the Italian Association of Constitutionalists.
She was appointed in August 2019 by the Minister of the Environment as a member of the National Technical Commission for the verification of environmental impact VIA-VAS and was part of the Commission of experts appointed by the Government in June 2013 for the reform of the Constitution. She has coordinated research units within the framework of European Horizon 2020 projects and national PRIN projects.
In July 2020, she was elected by the Chamber of Deputies as a member of the Board of the Data Protection Authority, where she serves as Vice President. Since June 19, 2023, she has been a member of the Steering Committee for the determination of the essential levels of services (LEP) concerning civil and social rights at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.
She has been a columnist for the publications Il Dubbio, Il Giornale, and Corriere Fiorentino. She has contributed to Corriere della Sera and Il Messaggero.
