Francesco Modanese

Francesco Modanese currently holds the position of Local Sales Manager at ABB Italia, and since 2023 he has also taken on the role of Sustainability Ambassador at ABB Italia and Sustainability Champion of the Business Area ABB Electrification.

Francesco Modanese is a professional who has developed his skills in a multinational context like that of ABB, a leader in the energy and automation sectors.

Francesco started working at ABB in 1997, focusing on sales. During his long career at the company, he then managed the Rome Branch for the Electrification division for 18 years, handling relationships with major clients in Lazio and managing personnel in the area.

From 2023, always in the Sales field for Electrification, he deals at a national level with the End Users & Utilities Segment, supporting sales and technical promotion in approaching this type of customer.

Last October 2023, he was appointed as Sustainability Ambassador for ABB Italy and Sustainability Champion for ABB Electrification, with the task of disseminating and communicating to customers the ABB Sustainability Agenda and the Group's related activities aimed at creating a more sustainable future and society.

Father of two engineer sons and former baseball player, a youthful passion that led him to travel the world, today in his free time he dedicates himself to reading and various sports activities, including tennis and paddle tennis.
