After the selection process of the XVI edition of the International Technovisionary Award® 2022, dedicated to women in FinTech, has been completed.

Milan, May 16, 2022 - Vision, social impact, transparency and ethics are the guiding themes of the 2022 edition of the prestigious award promoted by Women&Tech - Women and Technology Association, founded by Gianna Martinengo, which this year is dedicated to female excellence in a sector undergoing profound transformation and where access to and use of financial tools for women is still limited, the FinTech sector.

The award ceremony for 'FINTECH, THE FEMALE EXCELLENCE', carried out by a Jury composed of qualified representatives from the world of culture, communication, science, and innovation, will take place on June 9th at Palazzo Pirelli in Milan. It will honor the 10 Technovisionaries who, thanks to their realistic vision of the world we live in, their skills in the FinTech ecosystem, and their ability to connect the female universe to the evolution of the digitalization process in the financial sector, have carried out activities and promoted projects capable of enhancing female talent and bringing innovation to the industry.

Starting from the various tens of applications received by last April 30th, the Jury based the selection of the 10 profiles on objective evidence of excellence of the candidates and on the value they have brought to FinTech, both as protagonists of the sector's evolution, and as recipients of financial and technological services.

For the evaluation criteria for the selection of candidates, the motivations contained in the presentation report prepared by the reporters, the professional and academic curriculum of the candidates, and the skills highlighted through the activities actually developed were taken into consideration.

The fundamental aspect in the profile, in addition to the professional role held, is the differential contribution made in terms of vision, courage, sensitivity, and innovation to the sector.
