The International Award "Le Tecnovisionarie®", part of the international conference "Women&Technologies® 2008-2015", is awarded every year to women who have demonstrated vision, prioritize social impact, transparency in behavior, and ethics in their professional activities. They are "Le Tecnovisionarie" in the fields of research, innovation, and business.
Nominations for the VI edition of the Award were made online on the website
www.womentech.eu
until October 15, 2013. Among the 208 nominations, a selection of 27 finalists was chosen, including the 7 winners, one for each category of the competition. The Jury consists of 7 individuals selected from qualified representatives of the business, culture, and communication world.
In this edition, for the first time, the Association Women and Technologies introduced the Special Europe Award, dedicated to European personalities who have contributed to the theme "Women & Information Technologies".

Awards Ceremony
The award ceremony, conducted by Repubblica journalist Cinzia Sasso, took place at the conclusion of the Conference on Tuesday, November 5th at 4:30 pm.
Neelie Kroes, winner of the "Special Europe Award," was presented with the Medal that President Giorgio Napolitano wanted to designate, as his representative award, to the VI edition of the International Conference Women&Technologies®: e-Nutrition.
The 2013 Technovisionaries were given a canvas from the ANITA collection specifically created for the Award by Carlotta Todeschini.
This collection is dedicated to women who have been able to combine "heart and invention" achieving prestigious milestones in service of others and therefore even more deserving of being remembered.
