Within the T-Essere project, Women&Tech® ETS promotes an online dialogue dedicated to Recall, the personal safety app designed to help people request support in a simple, quick, and discreet way, activating a network of trusted contacts in moments of vulnerability or emergency. Recall presents itself as an “all-in-one” solution focused on personal protection and based on a clear idea: safety can also arise from the bonds of trust that surround us.
During the conversation, the app's functionality and the social value of its proposal will be presented.
The initiative will also provide an opportunity to reflect on an increasingly urgent issue: how to put technology at the service of safety, well-being, and autonomy of people, particularly in contexts of vulnerability, violence prevention, and shared care. Recall’s mission is indeed “to make people feel safer, always,” and the app is designed for women and men, young people, the elderly, and individuals who may find themselves exposed to risky situations.
The guest of the meeting will be Monica Magnoni, co-founder of Recall. The conversation will be introduced by Gianna Martinengo, President of Women&Tech® ETS.
