In the world, there are 5.7 billion people who make up the workforce. Of these, 24% belong to Gen Z (aged between 15 and 24), but only 36% of them have a paid job. True digital natives, Gen Z presents itself as the most diverse, better educated, and more tech-savvy workforce generation. Professionally, they aspire to be part of open, inclusive, and dynamic teams, and work situations where flexibility, both their own and others', is a distinctive feature. For these young people, efficiency is not measured by being in the office from 9 to 5, and the pandemic has strengthened this belief.
Such openness and willingness of young people, however, in our Country the job market often poses entry barriers, sometimes paradoxical, which can be summarized in the title chosen for the meeting between Kelly® Services Italy , workforce solutions provider leader in the reference market, and the Women&Tech® Young Ambassadors : Seeking recent graduates... with experience!
It is also important and necessary to support those entering the workforce in better understanding what companies expect, where to focus, and how to present themselves to enhance talent, training, and motivation.
On October 29, 2021 at 2:00 PM, Kelly Services Italia will engage in dialogue with students of the master's degree program in "Biotechnologies for Food" at the University of Padova and some Women&Tech® Young Ambassadors on these topics.
Kelly® Services, a global leader in outsourcing and consulting services, temporary and permanent staffing, and recruitment of qualified and specialized personnel, has helped over a million workers worldwide manage their career opportunities, directly placing 550,000 people in jobs and assisting others through its network of partners in talent supply chain management.
