Umberto Babuscio

Umberto Babuscio - Benevento, 1964. Chief Business Development Officer of Rai Way since July 2017, with 25 years of experience as a network transmission and diffusion manager at Rai and Rai Way, particularly as Head of Operations at Rai Way from 2008 to 2017 where he led a profound transformation of maintenance and operation processes of networks and facilities.

Since 2006 he has been Chairman of the "Assembly of the Contact Engineers" of the EBU, an international body that studies the technical and operational evolution of contribution services adopted by European public broadcasters within the Eurovision context. Since 2016 he has been a contract professor for the course "Next Generation Telecommunication Networks" in the Engineering Macroarea at the University of Rome-Tor Vergata.
