Simone Ghezzi

My name is Simone, and I am a chemist. Not one of those mad scientists you see in TV shows, but one of those who likes to discover new things and talk about them with others.

I have always been inclined towards the sciences; according to some people who know me, it's because I never outgrew the "why phase": I am always curious to understand why a certain phenomenon happens or how a natural process works.

I have therefore decided to obtain a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry and subsequently a Master's Degree in Chemical Sciences because chemistry is the science capable of explaining "how things are made", but at the same time it is a science that people generally fear or distrust: I find it interesting to know what "bad words" or "mysterious" acronyms are found on the back of labels or in ingredient lists, and I would very much like to be able to explain to others that there is no need to be afraid of "chemical products".

In my free time I like to follow news from the world of video games, so much so that I run a themed blog: did you know that I also ended up, one year, on Nintendo's stage at a fair?
