Sara Saltalamacchia

Sara is currently an Account Manager for one of ABB's strategic clients and, for a couple of years now, also the Sustainability Champion for the Business Area Motion in Italy.

After obtaining a degree in Electronic Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Milan and after a brief experience as a Bid & Proposal Engineer at Siemens Italy, she joined ABB.

Over the years, thanks also to participation in specific training courses on negotiation, account and segment management, and more comprehensive courses on various topics (Management, Finance, Supply Chain, Leadership...) such as the ABB Passport Program in collaboration with the Business School SDA Bocconi, I have been able to acquire the best tools to face the competitive challenges of a global organization like ABB.

This has also allowed her to have the opportunity to cover various roles of vertical and transversal growth: from Bid & Proposal Specialist to Sales Specialist, from Local Product Manager and Segment Manager to the current roles.

After appropriate training, Sara has become a Dream Coach ABB, which means she is one of the 600 volunteers who over the years have supported the path within the "Italian Entrepreneurship Championship" initiative of Junior Achievement, recognized by the Ministry of Education and Merit and aimed at high school students, who are called to transform their ideas into real business projects as if they were mini-businesses.

He then participated in the "Digital&Green" initiative with Junior Achievement, aimed at middle school boys and girls: these are interactive workshops that aim to inspire them to think about their future in the technological field.

Finally, he collaborated in organizing a day with over 150 primary school children, with the aim of educating elementary school students on technology and environmental sustainability.
