After obtaining a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Rosa decided to further her studies by pursuing a PhD in Bioengineering and Biosciences.

Currently in the third year of this path, collaborates with the research laboratory of Processing Systems and Bioinformatics of the Department of Engineering at the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome, on research topics such as artificial intelligence and its applications in the healthcare sector, analysis of Social Networks and time series (https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Rosa_Sicilia2).

Although still at the beginning of her career, Rosa has had the opportunity to participate in international conferences and actively collaborate with other researchers to publish articles on the topics of her work. In particular, her studies in the field of Radiomics and personalized medicine have allowed her to participate in informative events in collaboration with the Italian Diagnostic Center (CDI) spa and the Swiss Association of Medical Radiology Technicians. She is also a co-author of a scientific work related to the use of radiomics in acoustic neuroma recently awarded at the International Conference on Bioinformatics and Biomedicine of the IEEE.

Since 2018, he has also been a member of the joint laboratory "Precision Medicine & BioData Analytics" born from the active collaboration between the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome and the CDI, which focuses mainly on research in the field of applying artificial intelligence methods for precision medicine.
