Roberto Zardinoni is Sales & Transformation and Alliance Leader of Kyndryl Italy.

She has a brilliant career at IBM behind her, from which Kyndryl Italia was born following the spin-off that took place in November 2021.

In 1988, after graduating in Computer Science from the University of Udine, Roberto Zardinoni was hired by IBM in the sales department, where he eventually held various top roles in the Sales area.

  • Vice President Business Partner Organization, IBM South Europe, responsible for the IBM ecosystem in Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Turkey, and Israel;
  • Vice President of Software Division, IBM Southwest Europe, responsible for the IBM software direction including the brands: WebSphere, Information Management, Lotus, Tivoli, Rational, and PLM;
  • Managing Director of the UniCredit Group, responsible for the relationship and business with UniCredit customers in 22 countries;
  • Vice President of Sales Management "General Business", IBM Italy;
  • Vice President, Enterprise & Commercial, IBM EMEA. In this position for 5 years, he manages sales and successfully leads business strategy transformation projects.
  • Synergy Leader for Red Hat, IBM EMEA, following the acquisition by IBM, leads initiatives aimed at synergy with Red Hat to maximize business results facilitated by the collaboration of the two companies;
  • Vice President Sales in the Infrastructure Services GTS direction of IBM EMEA, responsible for the development and growth of the "volume" infrastructure services business in over 50 countries in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. In this role, he contributes to the transformation that leads IBM's Infrastructure Services organization to become independent, giving rise to Kyndryl, with a particular focus on hiring approximately 150 talents to address the challenges of the new start-up and focusing on a way of engaging customers based on the value that the market finds in interacting with the new company Kyndryl.

The brilliant career of Roberto sees national roles alternating with international positions, making him a Trusted Senior Leader who has achieved important milestones in the commercial field, making the combination of "tactics & strategy" one of the cornerstones of his professionalism.
