Technical-regulatory area Cosmetica Italia - National Association of Cosmetic Companies

Roberto Gorni graduated in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology from the State University of Milan and has been working for many years at Cosmetica Italia (formerly UNIPRO) - the national association of cosmetic companies.

Currently, he is responsible for the Technical-Regulatory area of the Association and provides consultancy and support to member companies in the technical-production and legislative fields applied to the production and marketing of cosmetic products, as well as coordinating and assisting working groups made up of technicians and entrepreneurs from member companies of Cosmetica Italia. This involvement includes activities that are strictly technical and regulatory, as well as activities aimed at institutional aspects and commercial support.

He is a member of working groups at the European level within the activities of the European Association of Cosmetic Industries (Cosmetics Europe). He is involved in institutional educational activities of the Association on cosmetic legislation issues, also for ASL, ISS, Ministry of Health and Carabinieri dei NAS. He is a speaker at numerous conferences and industry seminars.

He is the Coordinator of the Italian working group of UNI (Italian National Unification Body) on cosmetic products and participates in the work of ISO (International Organization for Standardization) TC 217 and CEN (European Committee for Standardization) TC 392 on cosmetic products. He is a lecturer in cosmetic legislation in the advanced course in cosmetic products at the University of Milan and a lecturer in seminars and numerous post-graduate courses for various Italian universities.
