Roberta Marchini

Roberta is the Technical Solution and Business Development Manager with responsibilities in the EMEA region for the Infrastructure Solutions Group at Lenovo.

Previously, he covered the role of Technical Sales Manager for Italy, where he led the technical sales team with responsibilities for developing the server and storage solutions market. In a career of over 20 years in the IT sector, he has been involved in complex projects involving virtualization, integration of various data center technologies, disaster recovery solutions and cloud solutions. He is an internationally recognized expert in system management, VDI, Cloud.

From 1998 to 2014, Roberta held the position of Client Technical Sales at IBM with responsibilities for x86 servers, and previously was a Software Developer at Italtel.

Among the certifications he holds: VMware Certified Professional (VCP, starting from ESX 3 up to vSphere 6); Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) (on Windows NT and Windows 2000); Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP); IBM Certified IT Specialist (internal IBM technical certification).

Roberta Marchini graduated in electronic engineering from the Polytechnic University of Milan.
