Pietro Iurato

Entered SAP Italia in 2007 as HR Business Partner, in October 2020 Pietro Iurato was appointed HR Head for EMEA South, which includes, in addition to Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Israel, Turkey, Middle East, and Africa.

In his new role, Iurato has the responsibility of translating the SAP People Strategy in the region to ensure the best management, growth, and development of human resources and support the corporate welfare system aimed at creating a flexible and productive environment. Another area of focus for Iurato is talent development and growth, to offer the best experience to employees and enhance employer branding.

From January 2017 to October 2020, Iurato was the Director of Human Resources for the Southern Europe region at SAP. While from July 2013 to January 2017, he held the role of HR Director for SAP Italy. Before joining SAP, Iurato had experiences in the HR field within other important Italian companies, including Fastweb.

Iurato obtained a degree in Political Science, with a specialization in Labor and Organization from the State University of Milan and a Master's in Human Resources from the Vigorelli Institute in Milan.
