She graduates in Economics and Business at the University of Genoa, starting her professional career specializing in organizational analysis and planning and control in public administrations.

The first female city manager in Italy, she was the Director of Communication and External Relations at Fiera Milano Spa from December 2008 to July 2018. Since 2011, she has been a member of the Board of Directors of Fondazione Stelline; since 2013, she has been the President. In 1998, she became the city manager of Vigevano, after working as a Manager at the Municipality of San Donato Milanese and after overseeing numerous projects for the introduction of management control and reorganization of local authorities.

In 2000, he moved to Milan to become the Central Director of Human Resources, Organization, and Information Systems at the Province of Milan. From 2002 to 2008, he worked as a Manager in various roles at Aipa spa. In May 2008, he became the Vice Director of Communication at Fiera Milano spa and after six months from that first assignment, from December of the same year, he directed, until July 2018, the Communication and External Relations department of Fiera Milano Spa.

Since 1997, he has gained top managerial experiences both in the public and private sectors. Since 1997, he has held various teaching positions at Training Centers, Schools, and Universities: starting from the academic year 2016-2017, he is a contract professor at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan teaching Communication Planning and Measurement for the Master's in Corporate Communication.
