Paola Lorusso

Paola is a manager of a team of Solutions Architects in AWS and an AWS Ambassador, promoting the development of women in the IT world. Passionate about technology, she has experimented with the development of Big Data and ML solutions and with the latest Cloud technologies. Her professional career began in 2008 with a degree in Information and Communication Technologies from the State University of Milan. Throughout her journey, she has had the opportunity to work as an IT consultant for many entrepreneurial realities in different sectors.

In 2013, she began her career as a customer in the Operations team at ENI, becoming the Database team leader. Since 2018, Paola has entered the world of AWS as the first Solutions Architect specializing in the Database area.

Paola has cultivated a particular sensitivity in understanding the needs of clients and collaborators thanks to the heterogeneity of her engagements. In the last 4 years at AWS, she has also developed a strong predisposition for teamwork with an international team coming from different parts of the world, and with diverse cultures and experiences.
