Since 2011, Paola Corna Pellegrini has been the Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Allianz Partners in Italy, the company of the Allianz Group, a global leader in travel insurance, assistance, and personal services, with over 700 employees.

Degree in Mathematics from Padova and MBA from the CUOA Business School in Vicenza. 35 years of career that began in marketing at Henkel Cosmetic where, at just 28 years old, he became a manager in the role of Marketing Manager Personal Care. In 1990, he moved to the services sector when he joined Europe Assistance, first as Marketing Director and then as Sales & Marketing Director. In 1996, he entered the pharmaceutical market as Marketing Director of Novartis Consumer Health Italy, becoming BU Head OTC in 2002 and General Manager OTC in 2004. In early 2006, he joined Zambon Pharma in an international role as Worldwide General Manager and Board Member, as well as CEO of Zambon Italy.

In January 2009, she began an independent path of Consulting in Corporate & Business Strategy in the Healthcare and Well-being sectors, working for various pharmaceutical, cosmetic, biotech companies, and communication agencies, both national and international. A promoter of a culture of innovation, she is committed to promoting local and intra-group initiatives aimed at anticipating the changing needs of clients, understanding the best solutions for the new generations, contributing to a paradigm shift that results in an exclusive combination of insurance, service, and technology.

With the aim of promoting collaborations between the business world and the academic one, in collaboration with the Master's in Inventive Engineering at the Sapienza University of Rome, 3 years ago, we launched the project InnovationLab@AllianzPartners. This project was developed through the formation of a team composed of company employees, students from the Roman university, and consultants, with the goal of generating innovative and technologically advanced product concepts aimed at enriching the offering with digital solutions for a better user experience.

Innovation and digitization that also involves young people, with a particular focus on young girls, participates in work tables aimed at encouraging them to undertake STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) studies, highlighting the opportunities offered by these disciplines and digital skills, and actively supports for the 2nd consecutive year, STEM(A) in the CITY, an initiative promoted by the Municipality of Milan.

In the field of gender diversity & inclusion, aimed at promoting female talent, she is the President of the Scientific Committee of the Winning Women Institute and the creator of the Valeria Solesin Award, promoted in collaboration with the Meritocracy Forum of which she is a member of the board, an award dedicated to master's theses on the theme "Female talent as a determining factor for the development of the economy, ethics, and meritocracy in our country." She is married and has two children, Francesca, 29 years old, and Matteo, 24 years old.
