Curriculum

Ouejdane Mejri is a researcher in Computer Science at the Polytechnic University of Milan.

She studied Computer Science at the University of Tunis where she obtained a Master's degree. She then moved to Italy where she attended the Ph.D. School at the Polytechnic University of Milan in Computer Science and Automation.

His research interests mainly focus on Information Systems Technologies with particular attention to data management in business, risk analysis, and emergency management contexts. He teaches courses in Computer Fundamentals, Databases, and Business Processes Management.

Currently working in the field of Civil Protection within two interdisciplinary projects (PROMETEO and MIARIA), focusing his research on engineering solutions for data aggregation, processing, storage, and publication.

Ouejadane Mejri is a founding member of the “PONTES” association of Tunisians in Italy, where she currently holds the role of President. This association has an important cultural dimension that can help reduce the gap between the South and North of the Mediterranean, particularly between Tunisia and Italy. Specifically, the association aims to promote economic and social cooperation between Tunisia and Italy in the fields of science, technology, society, and art through the development of a network of knowledge involving agencies, institutions, and companies.

It is also part of the editorial team of the magazine Yalla Italia! which aims to introduce Italians to the cultures of their new cohabitants and to help young Arab immigrants navigate their dual identities.
