Monia Azzalini

Monia Azzalini is a researcher at the Pavia Media Research Observatory, where she specializes in media analysis. As head of the "Communication and Gender" department, she coordinates monitoring on the representation of women in Rai programming since 2012 and the OERG (European Observatory on Gender Representations) since 2011.

Since 2005, she has been the national co-coordinator of the Global Media Monitoring Project for Italy. Over the years, she has participated in research projects for UNESCO, EIGE, CNEL, RAI, MEDIASET, Co.Re.Com. of various regions, and collaborated with various Italian universities.

He is a consultant for the PO committee of the National Council of the Italian Order of Journalists and a member of the Jury of the Friendly Images Award (UDI, European Parliament).
