Marina Salamon

Born in 1958, raised in Milan, during high school she studied in France and in Great Britain. Upon returning to Italy, she continued her studies at Ca' Foscari University in Venice, specializing in economic and social history, dreaming of a future as a researcher or journalist.

Instead, at just 24 years old, she becomes an entrepreneur.

Fonda Altana, which produces children's clothing in the luxury fashion segment. Among the most well-known brands produced by the company are Gucci, Moschino, and Dondup.
From 1985 to 2001, it was also a shareholder of Replay Jeans.

In 1991, it acquires control of Doxa, the first Italian market research company. Today, Doxa TwoPointZero, active in online research, Doxapharma, specialized in pharmaceutical investigations, and Connexia, a leading web agency in digital PR and multichannel communication, all fall under its umbrella. In 2014, it became the majority shareholder of Save The Duck, the first producer of animal-free down jackets.

All of Marina Salamon's companies are owned by her holding company Alchimia Spa, which is 100% controlled and included in the Mediobanca report among the top 180 companies in Italy. Alchimia Spa also operates in real estate buying, selling, and management.

He is a shareholder and board member of Banca Ifis, specialized in factoring and web banking and listed on the Italian Stock Exchange in the Star segment, vice president of Illycaffè, as well as a board member of Morellato Spa.

In 1992 he won the Bellisario Award, followed by several other awards related to his entrepreneurial activities (and more).

On the political front, he was part of the municipal council of Venice from 1993-95, alongside Mayor Massimo Cacciari.

For over a decade, he has also been a national councilor for WWF, and has always supported various charitable organizations dedicating part of his time to the non-profit sector.

In 2012 she founded Web Of Life, which encompasses the main charity projects supported by her.

Furthermore, all companies under Alchimia Spa annually allocate part of their profits to charity projects.

She has a large family: a husband, 4 sons, and 6 dogs adopted from shelters. She has also fostered two girls. In addition to the children, she loves animals, nature, and studying, which is why she enrolled in the theology faculty, dedicating her evenings to studying.
