Curriculum

Born in Rome on November 25, 1957, she graduated in Biological Sciences from the University la Sapienza in Rome in 1979, and holds a Master in Business Administration obtained from SDA Bocconi in Milan in 1987.

From 1981 to 1986 she was the coordinator of research activities in the biotechnology area at Eniricerche S.p.A. From 1988 to 1990 she was responsible for Strategic Planning & External Relations at Tecnogen S.c.p.A.

From 1990 to 2000 she worked at the Menarini Group, an Italian company leader in the pharmaceutical field, with roles of increasing responsibility in planning and control of R&D. She joined Molmed in 2000 and led the evolution of the Company from a small start-up (10 people) to a highly innovative biotech company with over 100 employees, taking it public in 2008.

From 2007 to 2015 she was also a member of the Board of Directors and executive administrator in charge of the Internal Control System and Risk Management. From 2011 to 2014, following the strengthening of the administrative structure and corporate leadership, she held the role of General Manager responsible for Business & Administration areas. From 2014 to 2016 she was General Manager of Corporate Governance & Administration. From 2004 to 2007 she was a Professor of "Organization, strategy and business policies" at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University.

From 2004 to 2016 she was a member of the board of Assobiotec, the national association for the development of biotechnologies of which she was also Vice President for some years, from 2010 to 2016 a member of the board of Federchimica and from 2006 to 2010 a member of the Board of Directors and the Healthcare Council of EuropaBio, the European Association of the bioindustry. Since 2012 she has been a member of the "Women and Technologies" Association and since 2015 also a member of the Board of Directors. Since 2011 she has been included in the "Ready for Board Women" list of the Professional Women's Association (PWA). Since 2016 she has been the executive President of Edita S.p.A., an innovative company operating in the digital sector.
