As a scribe, Marielle Binken co-designs and facilitates collaborative projects and events. She summarizes participants' ideas and expressions in large drawings and key words in real time, creating images that stimulate dialogue and mutual understanding, support the sense-making process, enrich learning, and facilitate engagement, allowing the group genius to emerge. She often collaborates with consulting firms to redesign business flows and facilitate related change management processes, particularly those related to internal and external communication.

Before working as a scribe, Marielle collaborated for over 15 years as a PR & Communication Manager in the field of Information Technology with companies such as Philips, Atos Origin, and Reply in countries across Europe. She is also one of the founders of Flor Training, a company that has developed a study method based heavily on visualizing objectives and creating mind maps, and co-author of the book "La trappola del pappagallo".

Marielle also volunteers in the neighborhood of her studio. Dutch by birth, she graduated in Italian language and literature with a specialization in mass communications & PR and cultural education at the University of Utrecht. As a strong supporter of the idea of lifelong learning, Marielle recently participated in international workshops on Visual Thinking through Metaphors, Graphic Facilitation & Generative Scribing, Sensemaking, MIT Theory U-Lab, Mindmapping, and Lego Serious Play. She lives in Milan with her husband, daughter, a rabbit, and a bike. She loves photography, drawing, reading, yoga, and nature. The sports she sometimes remembers to practice are skating on frozen lakes in winter and running around them in summer, rowing on the Navigli and swimming in the sea. Laughing with family and friends over a cup of tea or good wine remains her favorite hobby.
