Degree in Pharmaceutical Technologies, with a focus on environmental toxicology (2000 - Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Milan). Since 2001, project manager at Tecnoalimenti S.C.p.A., a consortium company for scientific and technological research in the agri-food sector, non-profit, composed of 27 Industrial Companies representing approximately 10% of the sales in the Italian agri-food sector and San Paolo IMI, representing the participation of the Ministry of Education, University and Research.
For over 14 years, it has been carrying out activities of promotion, coordination, and implementation of research projects of industrial interest at regional, national, and European levels on multidisciplinary topics related to food. Its experience focuses on creating connections between industry and research actors, from which new ideas for applied research projects emerge.
Numerous are the projects in which she has participated as a researcher and/or in the coordination group, such as Healthgrain "Exploiting Bioactivity of European Cereal Grains for Improved Nutrition and Health Benefits". Thanks to her privileged channel with industry, she has participated and continues to participate in the creation of Industrial Platforms as external stakeholders in ongoing research projects.
Active in the organization of scientific events (conferences, seminars, workshops) mainly with an international focus, targeted towards businesses.
