He is a Professor of Computer Architectures at the Polytechnic University of Milan and a member of the National Academy of Sciences known as the XL.
She was Chairperson of the Department of Electronics at the Polytechnic University of Milan and is currently the Scientific Director of the ALaRI Institute (University of Lugano).
Prof. Sami was Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Systems Architecture and a member of the Editorial Board of IEEE Micro, IEEE Design and Test, and IEEE Transactions of Computers.
She is a member of the Editorial Board of JETTA - Journal of Electronic Testing and co-author and co-editor of several books and over 200 technical documents.
