Maria Miguel Beirão

Bachelor in Bioengineering (specializing in Biomedical Engineering) and currently in the second year of the Master's in Bioengineering with a specialization in Biomedical Engineering.

Maria Beirão is a Portuguese student currently completing her master's in Bioengineering with a specialization in Biomedical Engineering at the Engineering Faculty of the University of Porto. She graduated with her bachelor's in Bioengineering from the same faculty in 2023. Because of her interest in the field of biomedical engineering, several internships have been done in medical devices, orthopedic imaging, and breast cancer imaging.

Besides engineering, she also has a huge passion for management and consulting, which led to her being involved in ShARE-UP, the Porto hub of ShARE, an association that through education and consulting, tries to create a Do Well Do Good world, by educating the next changemakers. In the Porto hub, she has held several administrative roles, including President of the Board of Directors, and developed several projects with companies.

Besides ShARE, she is also involved in the student association of her course.
