Questions to understand the present and design the futureMaria Luigia di Russo is 22 years old and is a master's student in Accounting and Finance at the London School of Economics (LSE). After obtaining her Diploma from the Classical High School of Pescara (2017), she enrolled in the Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Business Sciences at the University of Padua, majoring in Finance, which she completed with the highest marks and honors (2017-2020).
During the academic journey of the Bachelor's degree, she enrolls in the Summer School at the University of Michigan (2019), having been selected among the top fifteen most deserving students of the Department. She also wins an Erasmus+ Scholarship at the Nottingham Trent University (2019-2020), where she chooses to pursue Accounting and Finance. In the meantime, she holds the role of Team Leader Marketing at AIESEC Padova, and since 2018 she becomes part of Confindustria Giovani Imprenditori. Subsequently, she participates in the Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM) Case Competition 2020 in Amsterdam, in collaboration with Deloitte U.S., after winning the national selections. She obtains her Bachelor's degree by discussing the thesis "Covid-19 Tracing Apps: opportunities and challenges" with Supervisor Professor Claudia Sandei.
At the London School of Economics, he mainly explores aspects of Corporate Finance, Asset Pricing, and Fundamental Analysis, while maintaining a keen interest in the development of new technologies and Fintech. He participates in numerous initiatives and projects in the field of Fintech and Blockchain, including the London Fintech Summit 2021, organized by the LSE Fintech Society, of which he is a member. In June 2021, he will begin an internship at the London Stock Exchange Group, with the desire to further specialize in the field of Finance and Fintech.
