Maria Enrica Angelone is the CEO of Wallife, a start-up in the Insurtech sector that studies and insures the new risks of scientific and technological progress.

With over twenty years of experience, she began her career as an Auditor and Certified Public Accountant before being appointed CFO of Venere.com in 2005, a pioneering company in the world of online travel. In 2010, she moved - still in the role of CFO - to Octo Telematics, which, with the black box for cars, became the world's leading player in insurance telematics. It was also the first Italian company to understand and leverage the opportunities provided by the Internet of Things and big data trends.

In 2019, he moved to London, where he serves as the CFO of the company SUSE, present in over 35 countries and a pioneer of open source software.

With his first book "Plan Measure Scale" (Franco Angeli, 2022), dedicated to companies facing the scale-up phase, he wanted to share the journey taken so far in the development of businesses: a particularly treacherous passage because, in addition to the challenges of the market, the continuous change imposed by growth increases the risks of failure. The hope is that this contribution can help managers, entrepreneurs, and students to be successful and, above all, inspire young colleagues to pursue their respective ambitions.

He graduated in Economics and Business from Luiss Guido Carli in Rome, is part of the Academy of the Business School 24 Ore and of the Corporate Advisory Board of the Executive MBA Part Time in Rome (born from the partnership between MIP Politecnico di Milano and John Cabot University).
