Maria Cristina Origlia

Socioeconomic journalist, science communicator on the topics of work sustainability, and essayist, with experience in editorial management of magazines, websites, and book series. She often participates as a speaker and chairman in conferences, debates, and talks, with a systemic approach useful for understanding the complexity of current and future scenarios.

In twenty years of work at Il Sole 24 Ore, including eight years leading the magazine "L’Impresa," the oldest management magazine in Italy, she has developed strong expertise in the evolution of governance and managerial culture from a sustainable perspective, which today allows her to create connections between ideas and people, aimed at developing innovative projects with a strong social impact.

He is a contributor to several publications, including Alley Oop-Sole 24 Ore, Harvard Business Review Italia, Dirigenti Industria, Progetto Manager, Divercity, as well as designing new formats such as the video interview series “Capitani coraggiosi. Domande potenti per leader audaci” and the narrative performance in theater, in Milan and Rome, "SHAKE. Un'altra idea di futuro." He is a member of the Scientific Committee of the Observatory on Sustainable Work of the GiGroup Foundation, the Scientific Committee of AIDP, and the Advisory Board of the Master Com.Fil.Dec. at the Catholic University of Milan and of We World. Furthermore, he served two terms as President of the Meritocracy Forum ETS and today continues to contribute as President of the Scientific Committee.

He contributed to the writing of numerous texts and authored the essays Questione di Merito. Ten Proposals for Italy (Guerini, 2020), On Merit or the Vital Force (Diogene Multimedia, 2024), Work and Trust. From False Narratives to the Courage to Transform Reality (Franco Angeli, Orizzonti series, October 2025).
