Curriculum

Maria Chiara Carrozza is an Italian scientist, a member of Parliament since 2013. From 2007 to 2017 she was the Rector of the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa. From April 2013 to February 2014 she was the Minister of Education, Universities, and Research.

He is responsible for the "Neuro-Robotics" Area at the Institute of BioRobotics of the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies. Since 2016, he has been the president of the National Group of Bioengineering. Since 2017, he has been a member of the Italian Task Force on Artificial Intelligence of AGID (Italian Digital Agency). In 2016/17, he chaired the panel of the FET Flagship Program for the European Commission, DG Communication Network, Content and Technology.

She is a co-founder of the start-up Iuvo, a spin-off of the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna that deals with wearable technologies for personal assistance. Since 2015, she has been a board member of Piaggio. Since January 2018, she has been the Scientific Director of the Don Gnocchi Foundation.
