Luisa Donini

I am Luisa Donini, I am 24 years old and I was born and raised in San Lorenzo Dorsino, a small village in Trentino. After attending scientific high school, I decided to continue my studies in the field of biotechnology, a topic that had always intrigued and attracted me. I graduated in Molecular Biotechnology Sciences and Technologies at the University of Trento in 2018 and later moved to Trieste where I recently completed my master's degree in Medical and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology.

During the years of my bachelor's degree, I was part of O.W.L. (Open Wet Lab), a student association whose goal is to make biological sciences accessible to everyone. Among the numerous projects carried out by the association, I participated in several fairs and educational events, especially those organized for children.

I learned to swim when I was 6 years old and since then, for over 12 years, I have been part of a swim team. The numerous trainings and competitions immediately made me understand the importance of teamwork and collaboration within a team.
