Graduated in Quality and Safety of Human Nutrition and in Food Sciences, Ph.D. in Food Biotechnology at the University of Milan. Researcher at the Ifom-Ieo Campus in Milan, Department of Experimental Oncology directed by Professor Pier Giuseppe Pelicci.
The main interests of his research activity are focused on the correlations between nutrition and health, with particular attention to the effects of diets enriched in bioactive compounds of food origin, through the development of in vivo and in vitro studies.
Human nutrition, nutritional epidemiology, and clinical intervention studies represent the second research area focused on nutrition as a fundamental tool for the prevention of chronic diseases.
