Born in Genoa on 5/11/1956, she began her journalistic career in 1981 at the newspaper Il Lavoro and its editorial group, mainly focusing on the monthly B2B "Il Porto" on economics and maritime affairs. From 1986 to 1989, she collaborated with the Department of Labor and Professional Training of the Liguria Region, following the quarterly magazine of the Labor Market Observatory.

He moved to Milan in 1987 and worked for Imagine, the official magazine of the Perfumery, a publication of Fenapro. In 1989, he was hired by Mondadori for the launch of the weekly magazine Tempo Donna for the beauty pages and then the cooking section. In 1991, he left Mondadori for Rizzoli where he worked on the weekly magazine Più Bella for the cooking, plants, animals sections and their respective dossiers.

In 1995 follows the birth of Donna Oggi, which later transforms into Io Donna participating in issue zero. In 1996, he moved to Editoriale Italiana as editor-in-chief of Buona Cucina and became director in 1997. In February 2005, he returned to Mondadori as editor-in-chief of the kitchen area and then deputy director in 2007. In November 2008, he became Editor-in-Chief of Sale&Pepe, Cucina Moderna, and Cucina no Problem.

Between 2010 and 2011, Guida Cucina, a Mondadori magazine from the 80s, and In Tavola, a supplement of TV Sorrisi e Canzoni, were relaunched on the market. In 2016, after Mondadori acquired the Banzai media group and therefore the Giallo Zafferano website, she was asked to create the magazine for the site: Giallo Zafferano magazine was born in April 2017. At the same time, In Tavola was closed and at the end of 2018, Cucina no problem and Guida cucina were also closed.

In January 2020, Sale&Pepe and Cucina Moderna are acquired by the publishing group of Maurizio Belpietro and Maragliano continues to direct them together with Giallo Zafferano, which remains the property of Arnoldo Mondadori Editore.
