1978-1990 Psychiatrist at various public institutions.
1991-2002 Pharmaceutical company Crinos SpA (since 2002 Sirton Pharmaceuticals SpA), where he held various positions including Director of Research and CEO.
2003-2007 Foltene Laboratories (hair care products), where he served as President. The Company was relaunched and then sold.
2005-2010 President of Sirton Medicare, operating in the dermatological field.
2002-2009 Held various managerial positions (President, Vice President, CEO) at Sirton Pharmaceuticals, a third-party drug manufacturing company.
2002-2009 Gentium Spa, of which she was a founder as well as President and CEO. During these years, she developed the company's activities and led it to be listed on the capital markets in the USA, first on the Amex and then on the Nasdaq.
2009-2014 Board Member of Gentium Spa.
2011-2014 President of the Personal Services Company Istituti Milanesi Martinitt e Stelline and Pio Albergo Trivulzio.
2015 Executive Advisor of the Panakes Fund (biomedical technologies and medical devices).

Awards

In 2006, she was named among the 10 'Women to watch' by the Wall Street Journal Europe. In 2008, she received the "Golden Apple" award for innovation from the Bellisario Foundation. In 2011, she was selected for the Financial Times publication "Agenda" among the 100 managers suitable for serving as a Board Member in global companies.
