With over 25 years of experience in international financial institutions, Laura currently serves as Client Director at Cerved Group. Previously, she was Head of Public Sector & Transit at Nexi Payments SpA, where she led digital innovation for major public sector clients and promoted the adoption of digital payments throughout Italy.
Previously, Laura was Head of Sales Advisory & Distribution Engagement at Nexi, where she was responsible for engaging and training partner banks through commercial initiatives, training, and performance management. She played a key role in expanding Nexi's market presence and promoting strong collaborative relationships with major banking partners.
Laura's career includes significant leadership roles at Standard Chartered Bank and Wells Fargo, where she managed international teams, developed new markets, and promoted innovative solutions in the payments and banking transactions sector. She is known for her ability to lead diverse teams, achieve ambitious results, and navigate complex and multicultural contexts.
Passionate advocate for gender equality, Laura has been an active mentor for Women&Tech since 2019, where she supports the next generation of women leaders in the technology and finance sectors. She has also contributed to initiatives aimed at diversity and inclusion within the organizations she has worked for, including the “My Voice Committee” and “Women in Leadership” at Standard Chartered.
Laura obtained a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan, with a thesis on diversity management. She speaks English fluently and has a global perspective shaped by professional and personal travels in over 20 countries.
Mother of two daughters, Laura deeply believes in the power of mentoring, inclusive leadership, and lifelong learning. In her free time, she loves playing tennis, going to the theater, and discovering new cultures.
