Ilaria Li Vigni, criminal defense lawyer in Milan. Graduated in Law from the University of Milan with a thesis on crime victims, registered with the Milan Bar Association and the special register of the Supreme Court of Cassation.

Publicist journalist and writer. Legal consultant for the American and Canadian Consulate in Milan. I was a researcher at the Sociology of Law and Labor department at the University of Milan. For years I have been dealing with gender policies in the professions and have been a member and president of the equal opportunities committee of the Milan Bar Association and the equal opportunities commission of the National Forensic Council.

I am a trainer in courses on anti-discrimination law and leadership for women in professional orders and public entities. I have served as a Trustee at the Polytechnic of Milan and the University of Studies, and as a council member at the Lombardy Order of Journalists. Currently, I am a member of the criminal justice commission of the Milan Bar Association. In 2018, together with other professionals (accountants, psychologists, doctors), I founded the Observatory on professional women, a workshop for ideas and projects in the field of professional and non-professional professions.

I provide legal and judicial advice to individuals and legal entities in criminal matters with particular reference to offenses against the person, anti-discrimination law (gender, ethnicity, religion) and mobbing, labor criminal law, defamation offenses through the press and computer, privacy protection, medical malpractice and liability, offenses against Public Administration and entity liability as provided for by Legislative Decree 231/2001. I am a member of the Board of Directors of Fondazione Aem, Fondazione Ravasi Garzanti, and Supervisory Bodies in some companies.

I have published several essays on gender policies, Avvocate. Development and affirmation of a profession, 2013, Avvocate in associated law firms and Corporate lawyers, 2015, Penalists in the third millennium, 2017, and Women and the power to act. Female presence today and tomorrow, 2019.

I collaborate with some publications, Italia Oggi, Diversity Management, Lavoro, Diritti, Europa, and HR Online, focusing on commenting on judgments and issues related to anti-discrimination law.
