Giulia Baldi

I am an Italian lawyer with 18 years of experience. Currently, I am Corporate Counsel at Amazon Web Services, the cloud computing service provider. I am part of the EMEA Legal Team, focusing on legal and regulatory matters for AWS Italy. At AWS, I have developed specific expertise in technology regulation and agreements, privacy, and banking regulation related to IT outsourcing.

In my previous job as an attorney in private practice (I was Counsel at Chiomenti), I regularly advised Italian and international companies, funds, and financial institutions on M&A and finance deals, commercial agreement negotiations, as well as on corporate, regulatory, and compliance matters.

I have recently joined AWS's Italian Inclusion and Diversity Team, with the aim of contributing to initiatives regarding women's career progression towards management and supporting colleagues in their journey through parenthood, which begins with the desire for a child, pregnancy, and the challenge of balancing raising children with work. I have been playing tennis for many years. Now I have two baby girls, but I never miss an opportunity to play in my free time!
