Gina Giani

CEO and Managing Director of Toscana Aeroporti SpA, the company that manages the airports of Florence and Pisa created through the merger of AdF and SAT, graduated in Letters from the University of Pisa and attended numerous seminars and specialization courses, including the Master for airport executives on airport planning and design at MIT in Boston.

Appointed as Commercial and Marketing Director of SAT in 1995, she assumed the role of General Manager in 2009 and subsequently that of CEO. Her extensive experience at SAT includes a key role in the process of listing SAT S.p.A. on the Italian Stock Exchange.

She was a member of the Task Force of the Airport Council International (Europe) on the topic of airport participation in the negotiation of bilateral traffic agreements between states, a board member of Aerelba, CEO of L’Ikona Tour Operator S.r.l. as well as a board member of Pisa Congressi and the Council of the Pisa Industrial Union.

In the Steering and Control Committee of IRPET - Regional Committee for Economic Planning of Tuscany - and in the board of directors of the Industrial Union of Pisa, he is a member of the chamber council of the Chamber of Commerce of Pisa and president of the Transport group of the Industrial Union of Pisa.

In 2014, she was awarded the honor of Officer of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.
