Francesca Pasinelli

Graduated in Pharmacy with a specialization in Pharmacology, Francesca Pasinelli is currently the General Manager and a member of the Board of Directors of the Telethon Foundation, which since 1990 has been funding the best research to find a cure for genetic diseases.

After 15 years in the pharmaceutical industry, he joined the Telethon Foundation in 1997, where he held the position of Scientific Director for ten years, with the role of planning, developing and implementing policies and procedures related to peer review and managing and coordinating the Foundation's funding programs.

In 2005, she received the Marisa Bellisario Award, dedicated to women with managerial responsibilities in the field of research and healthcare. In 2007, she was awarded the title of Commander of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic by the President of the Republic, Giorgio Napolitano.
