Curriculum

Graduated in Medical Biotechnology, PhD in Molecular Medicine of Immune and Inflammatory Reactions at the University of Milan.

He worked in the Immunology laboratory conducted by Professor Mario Clerici at the University of Milan (until 2007). During this period, he studied the immune correlates underlying the onset of diseases associated with dysfunctions of the immune system (such as HIV infection, allergies, multiple sclerosis).

She worked as a Researcher at the Oncological Research Unit of the Scientific and Technological Pole of IRCCS Multimedica (until 2008), deepening the role of the immune system and the tumor microenvironment in the development of the neoplastic process.

Since 2008, he has been a Science Specialist at Heinz Italy in the Science & Nutrition unit of the Research & Development department led by Dr. Andrea Budelli. The main research lines of Heinz's Center of Excellence for the Infant & Nutrition category focus on the study and development of functional foods: foods that not only have nutritional value but also act positively on one or more body functions in a significant way to improve health and/or reduce the risk of diseases.

Such studies are mainly focused on the pediatric age group, with the aim of developing innovative products capable of supporting the particular moment of a child's growth and providing benefits both in the short and long term.
