Fabrizia Malgieri, PhD, is currently a Contract Lecturer in Video Games: Technology and Art at IULM University of Milan, where she has been collaborating and conducting research in the field of game studies since 2013. She is co-author of the book "Videogame: feminine, plural" (Ledizioni, 2024), has published "La Casa di Carta - The Mask of the Revolution" (Edizioni Estemporanee, 2019), as well as several essays related to gaming and television seriality, in books and scientific journals. She has collaborated with various magazines, was editor-in-chief of the Italian section of the Gamereactor network, a portal for video game news and in-depth analysis, and since 2018 has been collaborating with the national newspaper "Il Corriere della Sera," focusing on video games. She describes herself as a passionate serial gamer, a voracious consumer of cinema and TV series, and a geek.
