Journalist first at Avvenire and, since 1994, at Corriere della Sera, where she covered Milanese news and national politics; she later coordinated the Casa Corriere project at Expo. She has always followed social issues and is currently responsible for Buone Notizie – L’Impresa del bene, the weekly section of Corriere della Sera that she designed to showcase best practices from the Third Sector, social enterprises, and those who do not give up. She directs two annual events related to Buone Notizie: the Sustainability Report Award and Milano Civil Week, an event that has become part of the Milanese “week” calendar. Elisabetta Soglio co-wrote with Giovanna Ambrosoli the book “Chiamatemi Giuseppe,” about the story of Father Giuseppe Ambrosoli, and with Nico Acampora “Vietato calpestare i sogni,” about the story of PizzAut, the first restaurant where waiters, bartenders, and pizza makers are exclusively autistic young people. She has received several awards for the Buone Notizie project, including the civic merit award from the Municipality of Milan. President Mattarella awarded her the honor of Knight of the Order of Merit of the Republic.
