Elisabetta Capezio

Elisabetta Capezio is currently the Licensing Manager at Italfarmaco in Milan, where she oversees a variety of in- and out-licensing projects and alliance management issues. Before joining Italfarmaco, Elisabetta was a Licensing Manager in the Business Development group at BioXell, a spin-off of Roche located in Milan and listed on the Swiss Stock Exchange (SWX).

Elisabetta obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Biomolecular Biotechnology from the University of Bologna and completed her scientific studies at San Raffaele University (Milan), where she earned her Master's Degree in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology. Her thesis focused on the role of innate immunity in osteoclastogenesis.

After earning her degree, she was awarded a Fulbright fellowship in the United States, specifically in California, where she enrolled in a Business Administration course at Santa Clara University and completed an internship at the San Francisco-based startup Comentis. She is a member of the Pharma Licensing Group (PLG) Italy and the Fulbright Alumni Association.
