Eliana Baruffi

Eliana Baruffi has been serving as Country Communications Manager since 2009 and, since 2020, has also taken on the role of Communications Manager for the Business Area Electrification in Italy. Eliana Baruffi is a communication professional who has developed her expertise within a multinational context like the ABB Group, a leader in the energy and automation sectors, gaining a consolidated know-how in business-to-business communication and internal communication activities.

Since 2009, he has been a Member of the Management Team of ABB in Italy and the international Communications Core Team. Responsible for defining and implementing communication strategies and brand positioning for ABB Italy, he leads a team of professionals who develop their institutional and business activities with passion and innovative spirit in the countries and market areas of reference.

In her long journey within the ABB Group, which began in 1983, before assuming her current position in the Country organization, Eliana held the role of Marketing Communications Manager in support of various areas of business and market, with a particular focus on robotics, industrial automation, smart cities, sustainable mobility, and digitalization in utilities and industries.

In December 2014, she assumed the Presidency of Junior Achievement Italy, the international non-profit organization leader in promoting entrepreneurial education in primary, middle, and high schools; she was confirmed as a board member at the end of her term in June 2018.

Mother of two young women, passionate amateur actress, speaker at TEDxBergamo 2015 and at REDX 2017 (the event aimed at volunteers of the Italian Red Cross), actively supports ABB's commitment in Italy in implementing cutting-edge training projects aimed at developing entrepreneurial and digital skills of young people.
