Elena Pazzini

Elena Pazzini is the Global Head of Sustainability at ABB Motion. She has contributed to the creation of ABB's current sustainability agenda with goals for 2030 in the areas of emissions reduction, resource preservation, and promotion of social progress. Since 2021, she has focused on creating the governance of the sustainability function to execute the strategy effectively in line with the company's new decentralized operating model: the goal is to make their operational activities more sustainable, but above all, to collaborate with suppliers and customers to develop and adopt solutions that promote energy efficiency, decarbonization, and circularity. Passionate about sustainability long before it became a popular topic, Elena has 11 years of international experience in corporate sustainability and has held various roles in strategic, environmental, and HSE areas, both globally and in Italy. She holds a Master's degree in Green Management, Energy, and Corporate Social Responsibility from Bocconi University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Milan.
